Where we begin.

Friends School seeks to live the conviction that “there is that of God in each of us.” Regular Meeting for Worship in Stony Run Meetinghouse strengthens and deepens students’ commitment to our Quaker testimonies by providing time for quiet reflection and the experience of shared insights.

Reflection and Growth

This video showcases the use of quiet reflection, a practice that fosters learning and personal growth and is woven throughout the education experience at Friends School. See how our students explain Meeting for Worship and learn what this practice means to our community.

Graduation Ceremony

As has been the tradition for many years, Seniors line up in front of the Meetinghouse to walk down the path for Graduation.

Reflection

Our students constantly reflect on themselves, their actions, and their relationships.

Meeting for Worship

Students in Grades 1-12 attend Meeting once a week for approximately thirty minutes by grade.
“To me, Meeting is a place where I can feel peaceful and calm.”
